Meet Dr. Hargreaves
Dr. Hargreaves came to Charlotte from Boston, MA where he practiced alongside the official chiropractor for Major League Baseball’s The Boston Red Sox. He has completed over 100 hours of post graduate work as well as a national examination in sports medicine to obtain certification by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).
Dr. Hargreaves continues to pursue rigorous postgraduate educational courses each year to bring some of the most advanced diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation approaches to the Charlotte area. His passion and determination to understand the reasons behind pain and injury, even seeking answers outside the Chiropractic profession is what makes him highly sought out for his expertise on athletic injuries. He has worked with numerous athletes from NASCAR, NFL, PGA, OLYMPIC GAMES and Division I College.

Dr. Hargreaves obtained his undergraduate B.S degree in Biology from State University of New York at Geneseo. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College in 2002. He had been an associate doctor for 5 years before opening Carolina Spine & Sports in Uptown Charlotte in 2008.
An avid athlete, he played ice hockey while growing up through the collegiate level at SUNY Geneseo and the US National team in 1999. He enjoys staying active through weight training and golf. Dr. Hargreaves enjoys spending his spare time with his beautiful wife Laura and 3 kids Mia, Ava and Cameron.
